The ‘Nordfriedhof’ in Düsseldorf is the town’s largest and best known cemetery. Consecrated in the late 19th century it is the last resting place for some of the local industry tycoons as well as some notable artists from the ‘Düsseldorf School of Painting’ (1819-1918).
